How the Custom Engagement Ring Process Works

Designing a custom engagement ring with Varniya follows five stages, from first sketch to the ring in your hands:

The Sketch — Share a reference image, a link, or a description, and our design team translates it into a first hand sketch.
3D Rendering & Review — We build a photoreal 3D render of your design so you can review and refine every detail before anything is cast.
Casting & Refinement — Once you approve the render, the metal form is precisely cast and refined by hand.
Diamond Setting & Production — Each diamond is hand-set, and the piece is brought through final production.
Voilà — You receive your one-of-a-kind creation, ready to wear.

You can start the process either by describing your vision in your own words, or by using our visual configurator to compose the look by eye — choosing the center diamond shape (round, oval, cushion, princess, emerald, pear, radiant, asscher, marquise or heart), the approximate carat weight, the prong style, the center setting (from a classic basket to a hidden halo or vintage trefoil), the band style, and the metal, from 14K or 18K gold in white, yellow or rose, to platinum. Everything you choose folds directly into your design request.

What You Can Customize

Diamond shape — Round Brilliant, Oval, Pear, Princess, Marquise, Emerald, Cushion, Heart, Portuguese Cut, or a fancy cut of your choice.
Diamond quality — choose from VVS2, VS1, VVS1 or IF clarity grades, guided by our team if you're unsure what fits your budget and preference.
Metal — 14K, 18K or 22K gold, platinum, or silver.
Setting and band — from a simple solitaire to French pavé, a hidden halo, a three-stone design, or a fully custom setting built around your idea.

BIS Hallmark on gold — all Varniya gold jewellery is hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards, confirming the precious metal content.
